Job description

At First Advantage (Nasdaq: FA), people are at the heart of everything we do. From our customers and partners to our greatest advantage — our team members. Operating with empathy and compassion, First Advantage fosters a global inclusive workforce devoted to the diverse voices that make up our talent and products. Our team members empower each other to be their authentic selves and treat all with respect, integrity, and fairness.

Say hello to a rewarding career and come join a leading provider of mission-critical background screening solutions to some of the most recognized Fortune 100 and Global 500 brands.

First Advantage is seeking a Healthcare Product Manager to join our Drug & Occ Health Screening (DOHS) product team. This role is focused on driving value across healthcare screening, credentialing, onboarding, and hiring workflows by working closely with healthcare clients and internal healthcare subject matter experts.

You will partner directly with healthcare customers to understand their operational challenges, regulatory requirements, and hiring workflows, and translate those insights into prioritized product initiatives. Working closely with our Healthcare Vertical team, engineering, and other cross-functional partners, you will help define and execute a healthcare-specific product roadmap that delivers measurable client and business impact.

Who You Are:

  • You are self-motivated and ready to “roll up your sleeves." While you are an independent contributor, you are also collaborative. You can spearhead a project and see it through from start to completion.
  • As a team player, you navigate cross-functional teams and work well with team members in other business units and departments toward a common goal.
  • An Innovator — you see gaps in current processes or workflows as an opportunity to improve and try something new.
  • A lifelong learner and always seeking out opportunities to learn and upskill, you understand the importance of thorough and secure screenings and are interested in the Human Capital sector and the confluence of people, process, and technology.

What You'll Do:
  • Work closely with healthcare clients to identify unmet needs, workflow gaps, and product opportunities across screening, credentialing, onboarding, and hiring.
  • Partner with the Healthcare Vertical team to understand challenges across clients and synthesize insights into a cohesive, healthcare-specific product roadmap.
  • Lead product discovery efforts, including client interviews, workflow analysis, and validation of healthcare use cases.
  • Translate healthcare business and regulatory requirements into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritize product initiatives based on client value, regulatory impact, and business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and operations teams to drive successful implementation of healthcare-focused product enhancements.
  • Communicate product vision, roadmap progress, and outcomes to internal stakeholders and healthcare clients.
  • Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in healthcare screening and hiring workflows, including compliance considerations.

What You May Need to be Successful:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience in product management or related roles.
  • Experience in healthcare screening, credentialing, onboarding, hiring, or workforce-related domains is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work directly with clients to gather requirements, identify opportunities, and drive product decisions.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and the ability to learn regulatory and compliance considerations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate client needs into actionable product direction.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and balancing competing client and business priorities.
