Seastreak provides fast passenger ferry services in the New York metropolitan area. We proudly offer high-speed catamaran services to points in Manhattan, central New Jersey, Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard, and more with a fleet of robust vessels. In addition to commuter services to and from Manhattan and New Jersey, we offer an array of special events, sightseeing cruises and tours, daytrips, and getaways year round.
Deckhands / Crew members operate and maintain equipment on the deck of a vessel to assist with docking and other operations. Responsibilities include greeting passengers, collecting tickets, throwing lines, participating in safety training, and ensuring the safety of our passengers. You job as deckhand will also include working within Seastreak's Ferry Safety Management System. Deckhands are expected to provide exemplary customer service and follow the directions of the Captain and Mate.
Compensation: Hourly wage plus tips ranges between $16-$20 an hour
