Join #TheAbsoluteWurst Team! Dog Haus is seeking a fun, hard-working, positive bartender/cashier who shares our passion for high-quality food and alcohol to work at Dog Haus Bella Terra restaurant. This is an excellent career development opportunity for a Bartender with at least one year of Bartending experience, with an extensive craft cocktail making and beer knowledge.
Looking for a high energy, outgoing bartender who thrives on creating a welcoming atmosphere and delivers genuinely friendly, engaging service to every guest ensuring their experience is Extraordinary and not Ordinary.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver genuine hospitality while you efficiently craft every drink to perfection and serve guests responsibly.
- Follows all Dog Haus recipes, procedures, and policies
- Be fanatical in mixing liquor, beer and wine cocktails (Bartenders should have at least 1 year of bar experience and cocktail making)
- Cashiering, expo and running food
- Comprehensive Knowledge and understanding of different Beer Styles
- Demonstrates professionalism and possess leadership skills
- Able to Multi-task in a fast-paced environment and understands the importance of Teamwork
- Able to communicate properly with teammates and managers
- Has salesmanship skills and able to upsell products
- Guide our guests through our food and beverage menus while demonstrating a thorough knowledge of all our food and beverage items
- Take pride in keeping the bar area clean, sanitized, stocked and visually appealing to our guests
- Able to Engage with our guests and create relationships, creating a lively and fun atmosphere!
Dog Haus creates hand-crafted all beef hot dogs and sausages with no added nitrates, 100% Black Angus beef burgers and unique fried chicken creations, all of which are made with hormone- and antibiotic-free meat and served on King's Hawaiian rolls, and all of which have garnered critical acclaim and national attention. To chase it down, guests can select great craft beers from a tap list emphasizing local favorites or a signature cocktail, and they can finish their meals on a sweet note with premium shakes or soft-serve ice cream. Open for lunch and dinner daily, guests can choose from signature, one-of-kind Haus creations or customize their own from a wide array of unique toppings. Founded by partners Hagop Giragossian, Quasim Riaz and Andre Vener, three friends who share a passion for creativity, quality, and commitment to community, the first Dog Haus opened in Pasadena, California in 2010.
