Overview Husch Blackwell LLP is a national law firm with multiple locations across the United States, dedicated to our clients and the industries they serve. Position Details We have an immediate opening in our Los Angeles or Oakland offices, as well as our virtual office, The Link, for an Asbestos Litigation Associate/Attorney/Senior Counsel with a minimum of three years of experience preferred. Candidates should reside in California and have an active California bar license. The candidate will work primarily with attorneys in our Complex Torts business unit. Experience & Responsibilities The ideal candidate will have experience with all phases of civil litigation in toxic tort spaces, including factual investigations, discovery, pleadings, depositions, and substantive motion practice specific to California state and federal courts. The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, a commitment to the community, superior interpersonal skills and a demonstrated record of working well under pressure. The candidate should demonstrate exceptional judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects, and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action. Compensation & Benefits We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and much more. Pursuant to applicable state laws, the compensation range for this position is $180,000 to $300,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
