Senior Staff Attorney, Family Law (Hybrid)

Brief Description of the Organization: The Legal Aid Society provides civil legal assistance to indigent residents of Orange County. Position Description The Family Law Attorney will provide comprehensive legal representation to clients in complex family law matters including dissolution of marriage, paternity, child support, time‑sharing, modification, domestic violence injunctions, and related proceedings. The role also involves mentoring less experienced attorneys, participating in community legal education, and collaborating with other departments to ensure holistic client service. The attorney will handle a significant caseload while contributing to the strategic direction of the family law practice within the Litigation Department, assist pro bono attorneys in representing eligible clients, work with community partners, and act as a resource for other staff in substantive areas of law with a focus on family law.
