Job Summary The Senior Relationship Banker is responsible for providing consultative customer service, accurately and efficiently opening and processing all deposit accounts and consumer and business banking transactions. They educate, refer, and cross‑sell appropriate products to meet customers' needs, and identify and refer sales opportunities to relevant business partners. Responsibilities Accountable for high standards of service and responsiveness (≈50% of time). Deliver solutions to customers through interactive conversations to assess and address their needs. Actively engage with customers to identify referral and sale opportunities across all business lines. Engage in relationship management activities in accordance with corporate objectives. Discuss credit reports and scores; accept and process consumer and business loan applications and close loans within established guidelines. Conduct sales and service calls to existing and prospective customers, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction. Administer delivery of quality customer service; process daily transactions accurately and efficiently (≈30% of time). Maintain records, prepare reports, balance vaults, and complete branch audit tasks. Ensure compliance with bank policies, code of conduct, and regulatory guidelines. Participate in community events supporting the Community Reinvestment Act (≈10% of time). Perform other duties as assigned, including training guidance for employees. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Experience: Minimum two years in related banking positions preferred; previous customer service, sales, consumer and business lending experience preferred. Skills & Abilities Proficient reading, writing, communication and mathematical skills. Knowledge of Decision Pro, Loan‑to‑Value, Debt‑to‑Income calculations, and credit report analysis. Ability to analyze situations, resolve problems, and conduct in‑depth conversations with customers. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and customer‑relations skills, including problem solving and decision making. Ability to work fast‑paced, ever‑changing environments and function well in a team. Proficient computer skills. Unique Job Characteristics & Requirements Requires the ability to obtain or possess NMLS Certification under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008. Physical Requirements Communicate effectively with internal and/or external customers. Stationary 75% of the time or greater. Move objects up to 10 lbs.
