Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specializing in Critical Care for a travel assignment in Peoria, IL. This position offers you the opportunity to work in an acute care setting within an ICU, providing primary care and responding to the needs of critically ill patients.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit
  • Provide primary nursing care in the ICU to a critically ill patient population
  • Manage and care for patients with respiratory failure, post-surgical needs, and cardiac conditions
  • Perform PEG tube feedings and care for tracheostomy patients
  • Titrate vasopressors and manage sedation and pain control drips
  • Utilize CVC/PICC/Midline lines

Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit
  • Active IL license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
  • BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications
  • Experience in caring for sedated, ventilated patients and using various ICU drips
  • Ability to troubleshoot and manage RT equipment such as vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and High Flow
