Responsibilities Work in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Operating Room setting Day shift, Monday through Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM Full-time, 40 hours per week, 13-week contract Responsible for perioperative care including patient assessment, developing and implementing plans of care, and documentation in EPIC Must be able to recognize abnormal findings and notify physicians appropriately Expected to participate in OR safety protocols including time out and medication administration procedures IV initiation required for patients over 8 years of age Maximum of 7 days requested time off allowed per 13-week contract Returning travelers may not exceed 1 year of continuous assignment without a 6-month break No travel partners accepted for this assignment Requirements Active Illinois RN license in good standing (temporary license accepted) Minimum of one year recent relevant nursing experience in operating room Associate degree in nursing required Current BLS certification (American Heart Assoc.)
