Reports to the Business Manager. Coordinates activities related to procurement of supplies and parts from purchase through delivery in the most cost-effective manner. Analyzes parts and supplies requirements including preliminary specifications, preferred supplier, and urgency, solicits and evaluates proposals for the requested parts and supplies. Investigates and/or interviews with potential suppliers to determine if they meet the specified contract requirements. Negotiates the most economical price, considering the quality and delivery schedule. Implements purchase contracts that comply with company and government regulations. Assists in the month-end closing process. Maintains all files in a neat, orderly and up-to-date condition. Responsible for the daily administrative duties, operations reports, documentation of invoices, plus paperwork and transactions associated with program operations. Acts as a liaison between the program and the M1 Home Office Administrative and Accounting teams. Duties include Vehicle Control Officer, TCMaxx Administer/Trainer, Tool and Parts accountability compliance, GFE/GPE inventory control. Performs other administrative duties such as filing, answering phones, mail distribution and any other tasks assigned by the Business Manager. Qualifications and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent. AA desired. Minimum of five years' related experience and/or training required. A working knowledge of general hand tools, their applications, and the ability to read USAF tech orders, manuals, and regulations. A working knowledge of computer terminal operation is required. Must have a good working knowledge of desktop computers utilizing Microsoft Office Applications. Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English. Possess a valid state driver's license. Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks. Ability to work well with people with different personalities and work styles. Must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to deal with stressful situations and timelines. Working Conditions Environment ranges from office-like to hangar and flight line. Extensive sitting to climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands.
