About the Team
The product engineering strategic initiatives team drive bold strategies to achieve business and mission goals: enabling growth, competitive advantage, technology modernization, and continuous digital and agentic AI transformation as part of the COO organization. We reimagine the technology & business relationship by architecting future business and technology strategies, operating models, platforms, ecosystems, and capabilities into integrated business solutions. We orchestrate the breadth of Salesforce to co-create business value across the product portfolio and across the company.
What You'll Do
As a technology strategic initiatives manager, you will be responsible for:
- Turning ambiguous, cross-functional priorities into structured plans, clear owners, and measurable outcomes.
- Developing fact-based analyses, business cases, and strategic recommendations using qualitative and quantitative data
- Synthesizing findings into executive-level presentations, reports, and recommendations for leadership decision-making
- Driving quality, consistency, and timely delivery across workstreams
- Managing day-to-day team interactions, project plans, deliverables, and team coordination across multiple stakeholders
Qualifications
- 5+ years in management consulting, business operations, or technology strategy roles, with a track record of measurable business impact.
- Structured, first-principles thinker who can operate in ambiguity and move between long-term vision and near-term execution without losing rigor.
- Strong written and verbal communication with ability to build alignment across technical and business stakeholders and produce clear, executive-ready materials.
- Experience supporting or managing delivery of cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Bias toward proposing solutions with tradeoffs, not escalating open problems.

In the United States, compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, job level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits. Salesforce offers a variety of benefits to help you live well including: time off programs, medical, dental, vision, mental health support, paid parental leave, life and disability insurance, 401(k), and an employee stock purchasing program. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $147,400 - $202,600 annually. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
