The Grill on the Alley's Steakhouse is a fine dining interpretation of the modern American steakhouse with hints of Pan-Asian influence laced into the menu.

With genuine hospitality, a Bartender will deliver an exceptionally distinctive dining experience by crafting every alcoholic and nonalcoholic drink to company standards and serving guests responsibly.

A Bartender will guide guests through our menus and provide beverage and food recommendations that meet or exceed their expectations.

A Bartender will take accurate orders and provide the highest levels of friendly and attentive service that build the guest’s intent to return while ensuring the bar is stocked and cleaned.

As a Bartender, you will have the opportunity to showcase your mixology skills and engage with guests to ensure they have a fun and enjoyable time at our establishment.

Main Responsibilities of a Bartender :

• Guiding guests through menus while demonstrating thorough knowledge of the food, beverages and ingredients
• Taking accurate orders and partnering with team members to serve food and beverages that meet or exceed guests' expectations
• Providing friendly and attentive service that makes guests feel well taken care of and builds their intent to return
• Mixing, garnishing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company specifications for guests at the bar and in the restaurant
• Recommending beverages based on bar guests' needs and preferences
• Keeping the bar stocked and clean while always providing friendly and attentive service
• Adhering to company standards for serving alcoholic beverages
• Assists in tasks to ensure a clean, sanitized and safe restaurant

Responsibilities :

• Taking orders and serving drinks to bar guests
• Preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Mixing classic and innovative cocktails
• Communicating with guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Nurturing guests to provide an exceptional guest experience
• Making menu recommendations based on guests' needs and preferences
• Keeping the bar clean, stocked, and well-organized
• Checking guests' IDs to ensure they meet the legal drinking age

Requirements :

• Experience as a bartender
• Knowledge of preparing and mixing beverages
• A bartending certificate is a plus
• Basic computer and math skills
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Professional and positive disposition
• Ability to keep the bar clean, stocked, and well-organized
• Flexibility and willingness to work in shifts
