Water Operator

We are Hiring a Water Operator!

Looking for a long-term position with stability? The FCWSD  is looking for a Water Operator that Performs a variety of tasks in the operation and maintenance of the Districts water and wastewater systems.

We are looking for a self-starter with initiative that can still work well with the team. This is a career position with on-the-job training, advancement opportunities, excellent benefits packages available and starting pay based on experience.  No experience is required, will train acceptable applicants.

Requirements :

• Work Safely in an unpredictable environment
• Good work ethic, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently
• Willing to work weekends and oncall when necessary.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Montana drivers license, must be insurable, be able to pass a drug test and background check.
• Operators must have or attain the required certification within 2 years.

Competitive wages, Licensed Operators will start at a higher wage.
