Activities Aide

Full time slot available

Part time evenings avaliable

Previous experience with dementia patients encouraged!

Responsiblities include but are not limited  to :

• Recognizes actual or potential abuse of residents and has full knowledge of what steps are needed to protect the victim and to whom this is reported
• Encourage residents to participate in recreational social activities so that all residents are involved in activities by engaging in and organizing games, crafts, religious services, parties
• Conducts activity programs as scheduled
• Independently lead (large / small groups) recreational programs and 1-1 visits
• Adjust recreational programs to need of residents
• Transfer residents to w / c, escort to and from recreational programs
• Accompany residents on Community outings

Arrange tables, chairs for large group programs

Experienced is preferred but not required.
