What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the healthcare location.

Respond to incidents, emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, applying appropriate protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or access.

Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity and / or conditions to the appropriate personnel.

Assist with access control by verifying identification and / or credentials as required.

Support emergency response activities, including but not limited to fire alarms, medical emergencies, and evacuation procedures.

Maintain clear and accurate logs and / or reports of daily activities and incidents as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements :

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
