We are a high-performance Bitcoin mining facility in West Texas seeking a qualified Electrical & Controls Foreman to lead the day-to-day technical operations of our site. This role combines hands-on electrical work, team supervision, and controls / automation responsibility across air-cooled, immersion, and hydro-cooled infrastructure.
You’ll coordinate a crew of electricians and technicians, manage uptime, oversee critical systems, and take ownership of the site’s electrical health and controls performance.
- Responsibilities :
- Lead and coordinate electrical, controls, and general maintenance teams across the facility
- Perform and oversee electrical installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks
- Supervise and inspect work involving :
- Breakers, PDUs, transformers, contactors, busbars
- Pumps, EC fans, Modbus devices, HVAC and immersion systems
- Schneider and WAGO PLCs, temperature / pressure sensors, HMI interfaces
- Interpret and work from electrical blueprints, one-line diagrams, and wiring schematics
- Oversee and manage subcontractors performing electrical, HVAC, or infrastructure work
- Assist with or lead procurement of critical materials, components, and consumables
- Coordinate with company management to plan timelines and resource needs for new deployments
- Maintain safety standards (LOTO, arc flash protection, signage, PPE compliance)
- Respond quickly to component failures or alarms to minimize downtime
- Maintain electrical logs, inspection reports, and spare parts inventory
- Participate in shift rotation or on-call response as needed
- Requirements :
- Minimum :
- 6+ years of industrial / commercial electrical experience (480V, motor control, etc.)
- 2+ years as a lead electrician or foreman
- Familiarity with control systems, VFDs, Modbus networks, sensors and PLCs
- High school diploma or GED
- Texas Journeyman Electrician License (Minimum)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Physically fit and willing to work in a hot, dusty, outdoor industrial environment
- Preferred :
- Associate degree, technical college diploma, or formal apprenticeship in Electrical Technology, Industrial Automation, Instrumentation, or a related field
- Experience with Schneider, Allen-Bradley, or WAGO PLC systems
- Background in oil & gas, heavy industry, data centers, or crypto mining
- Experience with immersion cooling systems, industrial HVAC, or automation / PLC-based control systems
- Forklift and skylift operation experience or certification
- Work Environment & Physical Demands :
- Exposure to hot weather, electrical noise, and industrial vibration
- Work inside and outside containers, electrical rooms, and cooling units
- May require lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, or entering confined spaces
- Use of PPE is mandatory
- Schedule :
- 8-hour shifts (day or evening)
- Some weekends and on-call rotation as needed
- Compensation & Benefits :
- $40.00 – $55.00 / hour based on experience
