Allied Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details :

  • Work 3rd shift schedule Monday through Thursday from 8 : 00 PM to 6 : 00 AM
  • Weekend call rotation required
  • Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment according to infectious disease, sterilization, and patient safety protocols
  • Review patient medical history and supporting clinical information including contraindications and exam limitations
  • Use proper patient positioning tools and ergonomically correct scanning techniques
  • Apply independent professional judgment to safely perform diagnostic sonography procedures
  • Review examination images to meet QA standards and prepare preliminary findings
  • Ensure ultrasound equipment is functioning accurately and assist with daily operations
  • Utilize radiology information systems including PACS and complete required records and reports
  • Document patient information using electronic medical record and structured reporting systems
  • Assist radiologist and other providers with procedures including surgical procedures
  • Participate in education and training of sonography students and physician residents
  • Graduate of accredited School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography required
  • Registry in AB, OB, and / or RVT preferred
  • CPR or BLS certification required
  • Expert level knowledge of high level disinfection policy and procedure required
