Overview
Neolithic Materials is seeking a skilled photographer for a short-term engagement lasting up to one week or less. The project will focus on capturing the architectural beauty and material details of our collection, which includes reclaimed fireplaces, stone sinks, and antique troughs.
The ideal candidate will have experience in product or architectural photography and a keen eye for lighting, texture, and natural tones. In addition to conducting the shoot, we are looking for someone who can provide guidance on achieving proper lighting and accurately representing the color and form of natural stone in future shoots.
Responsibilities
- Photograph fireplaces, sinks, troughs, and other architectural elements in a warehouse setting
- Set up lighting and composition to capture accurate color, texture, and form
- Provide hands-on guidance to warehouse personnel on basic photography and videography techniques
- Offer practical instruction on lighting setup, framing, and color accuracy
- Deliver a curated selection of high-quality, edited images suitable for digital and print use
Qualifications
Proven experience in product or architectural photographyStrong understanding of lighting, composition, and color correctionAbility to teach and communicate techniques clearly to team membersPatient, easy to work with, and maintains a positive, professional attitudeExperience photographing natural stone or similar materials is a plusOwns professional photography equipment suitable for indoor and natural lighting is a plus (Although we already have equipment available as well)Project Details
