Job descriptionAssociate degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent experience preferred. 2+ years of experience in licensing, regulatory compliance, or a related field preferred. Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat Pro. Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Temporary Compliance & Licensing Analyst to manage licensing and renewal processes, including business, contractor, gaming, and tribal licenses. This role also includes light legal support for contract review and regulatory documentation to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
- Independently manage licensing, renewal, and certification tasks while adhering to regulatory standards and company policies.
- Track and maintain licenses through local, state, and federal databases.
- Maintain accurate records of licenses, renewals, and outcomes for audits or compliance purposes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals.
- Assist with preparing and reviewing licensing-related correspondence, agreements, and filings.
- Conduct basic legal research related to licensing statutes, codes, and regulations.
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure the organization remains compliant.
- Support licensing matters related to acquisitions or new business opportunities.
- Serve as a point of contact for external agencies and third parties regarding licensing issues.
