Floating : Required (all units except Behavioral & ER unless holding)

Locals Accepted : 36-hr guarantee

Requirements

2+ years ICU experience with travel experience documented

Charge nurse experience preferred

2 recent ICU Charge / Manager RN references

Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (AHA)

Active NY RN license + all RN licenses verified via Nursys

EPIC experience required

Skills checklist matching specialty

RTO submitted at time of profile

Experience with CRRT / Prismaflex required

Heart / CV experience highly preferred

Unit Details

Beds : 42 (East 20, West 22) – Neuro / Med 22, CTICU 6, Surg / Trauma 14

Common diagnoses : Neuro / Med – Stroke, Sepsis, AMS, Neuro interventions (TCAR), Resp failure, CHF, Post-STEMI; CTICU – CV surgery, Cardiogenic shock, AAA; Surg / Trauma – Trauma, major post-op

Specialty equipment : IABP, CRRT (Prisma / NxStage), Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM (Arctic Sun)

Unit Details

Common diagnoses : Neuro, Cardiac, Trauma, Respiratory (COPD), DKA, Sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, post-op

Specialty equipment : Temp pacer, chest tubes, A-lines, BiPAP, Neptune VAPO

Ventilator patients : Chronic vents (unable to wean; RT to assist)

Patient population : Adults (18+)

Beds : 64 total, 15 designated Neuro
