Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

About :

The Corporate FP&A Director will lead consolidated Forecasting efforts while supporting Reporting and Adhoc Analysis. The role is expected to collaborate closely with FP&A and broader Finance team members to gather inputs and to anticipate and deliver on forecast updates.

Job Duties :

• Leads financial forecasting, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow / Liquidity
• Adds and enhances the features and capabilities in the forecasting model while delivering on base case and stress case scenario asks.
• Proactively interacts with other FP&A team members and broader Finance and Capital Markets teams to gather the inputs / updates needed for the forecasting model.
• Creates insightful walks between versions of the forecasting model.
• Explains the forecast model methodology, inputs and outputs to the Executive management as required and maintains transparency into the forecast.
• Provides support to the accounting team during monthly close cycles and as needed, while continually reviewing the variances to forecast.

Generates resultant action items and executes on them.

• Performs other special projects and analysis as assigned.
• Meets timelines for various deliverables while maintaining excellent quality of work.

Required skills / competencies :

• 5+ years of Corporate FP&A experience.
• 7+ years of high-quality financial modeling experience in FP&A or other clearly relevant setting.
• Experience in modeling Securitizations and Hedging as well as relevant Financial Services experience will be favorably considered.
• Undergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting, math or a related field with a distinguished academic record required.

CFA, CPA and other relevant charter holders or candidates preferable.

Possess superior intelligence with a record of increasing responsibilities and success.

Highly articulate and able to convey important messages in a clear and compelling manner. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
