Job Title: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CST Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years Required Experience: Strong general, orthopedic, and neuro experience required. Big belly/crani/ortho trauma experience highly preferred. Robotic training is highly preferred. License: VA state license required. If the candidate holds an out-of-state license, they are required to obtain a VA state license. Certifications: BLS required. NBSTSA, NCCT, or military OR Tech Certification accepted. Must-Have: Experience in and proficiency with orthopedic, neuro, and general surgical procedures. Description: This position requires a Certified OR Tech with strong skills in orthopedic, neuro, and general surgery. The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in surgical services. Experience with trauma, particularly in a Level I trauma setting, is highly preferred. Candidates should have proficiency in robotic surgical systems. The role requires working three 12-hour night shifts per week. The candidate will be expected to work one holiday per 13-week contract. There is no on-call requirement for this position. Candidates must adhere to compliance documentation submissions as required. All requests for time off must be submitted upfront. Travelers who live within 100 miles of the facility are not accepted for this role. Candidates will need to confirm their commitment to the start date when submitted. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential for this position.
