Position Description

We're looking for someone who is a seasoned HR professional who can effectively lead and manage a broad spectrum of HR functions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering a positive workplace culture.

This position is a key leadership role responsible for driving strategic human resources initiatives across the designated region.

Reporting to our Vice President of Human Resources and partnering with our management team, this Sr. HR Manager will be responsible for employee relations, compliance, and supporting our team in the daily needs of the business.

Job Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Stay current with labor laws and regulations, ensuring HR policies and practices are in compliance.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate development programs for employees.
  • Implement performance management programs to drive employee development and engagement.
  • Provide guidance to employees and managers on policy interpretation and implementation.
  • Develop and analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs.
  • Recommend data-driven strategies for talent management and retention.
  • Lead and oversee HR projects such as the implementation of new HRIS systems, process improvements, and policy changes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Complex investigations include theft, harassment, and wage concerns.
  • Support our leadership team through team movement, employee relations, and investigations.
  • Benefits, benefits administration, going through Open Enrollment, ACA, and marketing benefits (with support of Brokers).
  • Handling Workers Compensation Claims, including submitting claims, investigations and managing claims to closure.
  • Multi-location, knowledge of state law preferred.
  • This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days in office.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in People Operations / Human Resources, at a generalist level.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent relationship building and influencing skills with people at all levels and in all functions.
  • Previous experience delivering excellent customer service.
  • Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Strong detail orientation; systematic and thorough approach to problem solving; and good time management, organizational, and recordkeeping skills.
