On Call Janitorial Cleaner

Overview

We are looking for a reliable and experienced On-Call Janitorial Cleaner to perform a variety of cleaning duties to ensure a clean, safe, and orderly environment across assigned facilities. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the overall appearance and sanitation of the workplace, contributing to a positive experience for employees, clients, and visitors.

Pay: $19.51/hr

Shift: Part-time as needed basis, no specific shift or work days. Will vary week by week depending on business needs. Have full availibility day and night

Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned locations to perform cleaning duties as scheduled or on short notice.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, lobbies, and other common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding assignments and site-specific needs.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial or janitorial cleaning required.
• Ability to travel to multiple job sites within [LA area]; reliable transportation required.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
