Automation ControlsThe Automation Controls position focuses on creating equipment for manufacturing and its sub-assemblies. This position concentrates specifically on controls of PLC driven robotic cells, servo actuated mechatronic systems and high volume automated process equipment. Siemens TIA ("Totally Integrated Automated Portal" OR TIA Portal) experience is highly desired for this role.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical controls, as well as electrical and automation support, for new manufacturing line equipmentAdvance current Factory control systems, and ensure consistency and knowledge sharing across manufacturing linesBridge core manufacturing controls teams (vehicle and powertrain) and factory operations to ensure that all factory controls needs are metParticipate in initial equipment conceptual development and carefully balance product specifications, process requirements, layout complexity, cost, and lead-time limits.
