Chief of Staff

Grid is an AI-native service that runs utility and energy operations for housing operators. We replace legacy BPOs with agentic software that handles operational workflows around utility billing, procurement, monitoring and support. Our partners own and operate hundreds of thousands of units across the country. It's a rare chance to modernize a huge, underserved industry that's ready for it. About the role Grid is a seed-stage startup backed by top real estate and technology investors, and we're hiring a Chief of Staff to help us scale. You'll work directly with the founder as a force multiplier, filling gaps across a small, highly technical team and driving Grid's commercial and operational priorities forward. What you'll do Partner with the founder to drive top strategic initiatives from plan to execution, including new product lines, key customer pilots and design partnerships. Own ad-hoc projects across the company, such as standing up new functions, managing hardware and vendor relationships, and working with counsel on contracts and regulatory questions. Take on special projects wherever the need is greatest: running a pilot end to end, building sales enablement and customer-facing materials, preparing proposals and ROI cases, or recruiting. Run the company's operating rhythm: weekly priorities, goal tracking, and the follow-through that keeps a fast team aligned. About you 5+ years in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. Startup, consulting, or operator experience is a plus. Results-driven. You ship things and close loops. Nimble and curious, happy to switch hats, and quick to learn a complex domain. Excellent communicator who works well across teams and is comfortable in front of customers and executives. A heavy, proactive user of AI tools in your daily work. Likely a background as a Chief of Staff or in operations with a lean toward GTM. Experience in real estate, insurance, or other regulated B2B markets is a strong plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
