Job Title : Director of Strategic Communications & Community Engagement

Position Summary :

The Director of Strategic Communications & Community Engagement at OSM is responsible for developing and leading integrated communication strategies that strengthen the organization’s reputation, promote community partnerships, and support internal engagement. This role oversees both internal and external messaging to ensure consistency, transparency, and alignment with organizational values. The ideal candidate is a strategic communicator, experienced in media relations and crisis response, who can serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and a connector between the organization, its people, and the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities :

External Communications & Brand Messaging

• Develop and lead the OSM’s public relations strategy, media outreach, and brand reputation efforts.
• Create compelling press releases, executive messaging, and thought leadership content that reflects our mission and values.
• Serve as the point of contact for media inquiries, cultivating trusted relationships with local and regional outlets.
• Collaborate with marketing and brand partners to ensure consistent messaging across digital, social, and partner-facing channels.
• Optimize engagement on LinkedIn and other Community Management platforms to elevate visibility among professional and healthcare audiences.
