Director of Platform Engineering

A company is looking for a Director of Platform Engineering to lead cloud infrastructure and DevOps initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor teams in SRE, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure while promoting AI-augmented operations

Define and execute cloud strategy, including multi-cloud architecture and AI-powered tools for optimization

Establish SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets, leveraging AI for predictive incident detection and system reliability

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, SRE, or DevOps roles, with 3+ years in leadership

Experience with AI / ML tools for infrastructure automation and observability

Deep expertise with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native architectures

Hands-on expertise with containerization technologies and infrastructure-as-code tools

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
