Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments for clients, utilizing diagnostic tools to determine their mental health needs and conditions accurately.
• Develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that reflect the client’s goals, strengths, and concerns, ensuring that therapies align with the latest evidence-based practices.
• Offer one-on-one counseling sessions using a person-centered approach, employing various therapeutic techniques including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and solution-focused strategies.
• Facilitate group sessions or family therapy when necessary, fostering a safe and supportive environment where clients can share experiences and learn from one another.
• Continuously monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure effective outcomes, actively engaging clients in their own recovery process.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and modifications to care plans in our EMR system.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, such as psychologists and psychiatrists, for comprehensive and multi-faceted service delivery.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of the evolving field of mental health, attending workshops, webinars, and team meetings.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Spring Health, you will work primarily with adults and adolescents facing diverse mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clients come from various backgrounds, and we are committed to providing culturally sensitive services that honor and respect their individual identities and experiences.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.
• A valid state license to practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years' experience in mental health counseling, with proven competency in working with diverse client populations.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that enable effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment while demonstrating a commitment to client-centered care.
• A strong understanding of various mental health treatment modalities, including evidence-based practices.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMRs) for managing patient information and documentation.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
