Sr. Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a website redesign and replatforming initiative involving a modern headless Content Management System (CMS) architecture.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in website redesigns, CMS implementations, and digital replatforming projects, with the ability to bridge business requirements and technical execution in a collaborative delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate approved product and design decisions into detailed functional and technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with product leadership and engineering teams to define, refine, and prioritize the development backlog.
• Support the Build phase of a website redesign and replatforming initiative.
• Document requirements related to front-end website functionality, CMS capabilities, and content management workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional development, design, and DevOps teams to clarify requirements and resolve dependencies.
• Define acceptance criteria that account for API integrations, technical dependencies, and system functionality.
• Identify potential gaps, risks, assumptions, and dependencies that could impact project delivery.
• Ensure requirements are clearly documented, actionable, testable, and ready for development.

Required Qualifications

• Senior-level Business Analyst experience supporting website redesigns, CMS implementations, or digital replatforming initiatives.
• Strong understanding of front-end website functionality and content management systems.
• Experience translating product requirements and design specifications into detailed technical user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies, backlog management, and story refinement.
• Experience collaborating closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, software engineers, and technical stakeholders.
• Understanding of API integrations and dependencies between front-end and back-end systems.
• Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and contribute immediately in a fast-paced project environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with headless CMS architectures.
• Familiarity with API-driven web platforms and front-end integrations.
• Experience supporting website modernization or replatforming projects during the development phase.
• Previous experience working in digital agencies, consulting environments, or collaborative delivery models.
