Your ability to connect with clients from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds is crucial in providing culturally competent care that respects and values individual experiences.

Qualifications

  • A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Possession of a valid and active state license as a Professional Counselor.
  • A minimum of three years of direct experience providing therapeutic services to children and families in a clinical or community setting.
  • Demonstrated skills in communication, organization, and time management essential for maintaining a client caseload and handling administrative duties.
  • The ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working in an outpatient mental health setting with a strong emphasis on trauma-informed care.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and reporting.
  • Training or certification in specialized therapeutic modalities such as EMDR, play therapy, or family systems therapy is a plus.
