Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor & Delivery – Arizona

Start Date: October 14, 2026

Location: Arizona

Schedule: Full-time travel assignment supporting Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn services. Facility averages 40 deliveries per month and approximately 6 cesarean sections monthly. Rooming-in model with Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI) standards. Occasional charge nurse responsibilities after completion of training.

Highlights:

• Provide comprehensive care across Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn units
• Work within a Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI) environment with babies rooming-in with mothers
• Opportunity to assume charge nurse responsibilities with appropriate training
• Moderate patient volume with approximately 40 deliveries and 6 cesarean sections per month
• Quick start opportunity for qualified candidates
• May include occasional floating to other departments based on qualifications and competencies

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Minimum of 5 years recent experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn care in a healthcare setting (additional experience may be required based on qualifications)
• American Heart Association ACLS or ALSO certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring certification (RNC-EFM may substitute for AWHONN FHM)
