About TicketKings
TicketKings is a live event ticket distributor based in Miami. We buy tickets to concerts, sporting events, comedy shows, and festivals across North America and sell them on every major ticketing marketplace. We’ve been profitable since day one and have doubled in size every year since. We're a team of about 30 people, with our core team in our Miami office.
About the Role
We're hiring a Head of Trading Strategy to join our core team, working alongside our Head of Investments and VP of Technology and reporting directly to our CEO. You'll oversee our data infrastructure, improve the tools our traders use every day, optimize how we buy and price inventory, and build new trading strategies from the ground up.
What You'll Do
- Oversee our data infrastructure, working with our VP of Technology to maintain and expand existing systems
- Improve the trading tools and dashboards our team uses to make buying and pricing decisions
- Optimize how we buy and price inventory across thousands of events
- Develop new trading strategies from the ground up, including backtesting them and working with the CEO to put the winners into production
- Set the roadmap for trading strategy and data, and hire as the function grows
What You've Done
- You've found an edge (prediction markets, sports betting, crypto, options, or something we haven't thought of), scaled it until it hit capacity, and can show the results
- You have strong Python and SQL skills and build quickly with AI coding tools
- You're comfortable with statistics and testing: backtests, out-of-sample validation, and position sizing
- You've built or worked on trading infrastructure
- A degree in a quantitative field (CS, math, statistics, engineering, physics) or equivalent experience
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship)
What We Offer
- $175,000 – $225,000 base salary plus bonus
- Profit share from the strategies you build, with uncapped upside after year one
- A seat on our core team, working directly with the CEO, with ownership of a function from day one
- A small, fast-moving team in an in-person Miami office

- Full-time, in office five days a week (3050 Biscayne Blvd, Miami)
