Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CVOR Tech to join our surgical services team. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment where you will support surgeons and clinical staff in a variety of elective and emergency surgeries for both adult and pediatric patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist with surgical procedures in the cardiovascular operating room.
- Ensure the operating room is prepared with necessary instruments and equipment.
- Maintain sterile conditions and assist in patient care during surgical procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with surgical teams to provide optimal patient outcomes.
- Utilize EPIC for charting and managing patient information.
Requirements
- Certification from NBSTSA or NCCT required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a busy cardiovascular operating room.
- Ability to work 1 call shift per week and 1 full weekend per month.
- Must reside within a 75-mile radius.
- First-time travelers accepted with the required experience.
- Experience with EPIC charting is mandatory.
Unit Information
Our facility features 23 operating rooms, along with 1 procedure room, catering to a diverse range of surgical specialties.
Shift Information
This position requires availability for day shifts, working 3x12 hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
