Server Position at The Wildbirch HotelCompensation: Up to $16.00 plus tips, Full-Time PMThe Wildbirch Hotel, a JdV by Hyatt lifestyle property in downtown Anchorage, is looking for experienced servers who want to create memorable experiences for our guests at Crimson. We're especially interested in locals who enjoy great hospitality and like sharing the best of Anchorage with travelers and neighbors alike. We offer full and part time positions as well as banquet and on call positions.We are looking for servers who:Welcome guests warmly and guide their full dining experience, from greeting to farewellMake personal, knowledgeable recommendations on food, drinks and local favoritesTake accurate orders, confirm allergies and dietary needs, and communicate clearly with the kitchen and barPace each course and check in thoughtfully so the experience feels attentive but relaxedHandle checks and payments promptly and accuratelyComplete opening and closing sidework and keep your section guest-readyWork closely with bussers, runners, hosts and bartenders as one service teamServe alcohol responsibly in line with Alaska ABC Board requirementsWhat we're looking for:2+ years of serving experience in upscale, hotel or chef-driven restaurantsGenuine, personable and calm when the room is busyHolds or can obtain an Alaska alcohol server education (TAM) card; 21+ to serve alcoholWhat we offer:Full Alaska minimum wage plus tips, with a transparent tip-out structurePaid time off for full-time team members401(k) for eligible team membersHotel discounts across the portfolioThe Wildbirch Hotel is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
