SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to support security monitoring, incident response, intrusion analysis, and digital forensics. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise Security and the ability to investigate security incidents, analyze digital evidence, identify vulnerabilities, and support real-time cyber defense operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor computer networks and security systems to identify suspicious activity, potential intrusions, and cybersecurity incidents.
• Investigate security breaches, document findings, assess potential damage, and support incident remediation.
• Collaborate with security teams to conduct security testing, identify network vulnerabilities, and support penetration testing activities.
• Implement corrective measures to address identified vulnerabilities and maintain security standards.
• Recommend and implement IT security best practices, including firewall configurations, encryption, and other security controls.
• Conduct intrusion analysis and create forensically sound copies of digital evidence for investigation.
• Analyze recovered and decrypted data, providing technical summaries and investigative findings.
• Perform dynamic and forensic analysis, including timeline reconstruction, statistical analysis, and file signature analysis.
• Support real-time cyber defense operations and deployable Incident Response Teams (IRTs).

Required Qualifications:

• Security Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance and ability to sit for a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
• Education: Bachelor's degree (BS or BA).
• Experience: At least one year of overall professional experience, including experience with Splunk Enterprise Security

Preferred Skills and Certifications:

• Microsoft Sentinel experience.
• GIAC Continuous Monitoring Certification (GMON).
• GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH).
• GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA).
• GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA).
• GIAC Network Forensic Analyst (GNFA).
