Job Description:

• Oversee Labor & Delivery, NICU, and maternity nursing operations.

• Lead nursing teams and ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

• Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and best practices.

• Manage staffing, budgets, resources, and departmental performance.

• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and patient safety requirements.

• Collaborate with physicians and clinical leaders to improve patient outcomes.

• Lead quality improvement initiatives, staff development, and emergency preparedness.

• Maintain regulatory survey readiness and ensure compliance with applicable standards.

Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required.

• Master's degree preferred.

• Minimum 7 years of patient care delivery experience.

• Minimum 7 years of experience in healthcare operations, clinical healthcare, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience managing operational or project budgets.

• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience with direct reports.

• Director-level experience in Labor & Delivery and Level II or higher NICU required.

• Magnet hospital experience required.

• Specialty certifications preferred.

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required at hire.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire.
