Your Return on Investment

• Base Salary: $140,000–$180,000, DOE
• Hybrid Schedule: Four days onsite, one day remote
• Potential Equity Participation for highly qualified candidates

What You'll Be Doing

• Take ownership of accounting and financial operations across two businesses.
• Lead month-end close, financial reporting, general ledger, reconciliations, and intercompany accounting.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, treasury, and working capital.
• Prepare financial reports and provide insights that support executive decision-making.
• Oversee banking relationships, weekly cash reporting, audits, and financial compliance.
• Lead and mentor a team of three accounting professionals.
• Improve accounting workflows, strengthen internal controls, and introduce additional automation.
• Optimize QuickBooks processes and leverage ERP technology to improve financial visibility.
• Partner with executive leadership to support continued growth and profitability.

What You'll Bring to the Table

• Significant accounting and finance leadership experience as a Controller, VP of Finance, Director of Finance, or similar.
• Strong hands-on experience with financial statements, month-end close, general ledger, reconciliations, and GAAP.
• Proven experience managing cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and working capital.
• Experience with QuickBooks and improving financial processes.
• Ability to lead a small accounting team while remaining actively involved in daily operations.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong financial analytical capabilities.
• Ability to work onsite in Oldsmar, FL, four days per week.

Even Better If You Have

• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, consumer products, or other inventory-intensive industries.
• Background with private equity-backed or privately held companies.
• Experience managing multiple entities and intercompany accounting.
• Familiarity with SYSPRO or similar ERP systems.
• Success implementing accounting automation, improving reporting, or strengthening financial controls.
• CPA designation or advanced degree in Accounting or Finance. xklufbp
