Business Development Coordinator – Top Ranked National Law Firm

Location: Chicago, IL

Hybrid: 3 days in office

Salary: $65,000–$80,000

A top-ranked and highly reputable national law firm is seeking a Business Development Specialist to support its growing business development and marketing team

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate business development and marketing projects from planning through completion
• Help organize client events, webinars, sponsorships, dinners, and receptions
• Prepare customized pitches, presentations, and RFP responses
• Coordinate Chambers, Legal 500, Law360, and other award submissions
• Conduct research on prospective clients, industries, competitors, and market trends
• Maintain attorney biographies, practice descriptions, experience lists, and marketing materials
• Draft internal and external communications, newsletters, announcements, and social media content
• Build strong working relationships with attorneys and serve as a reliable business development resource
• Maintain referral, mailing list, experience, and business development data

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 2–5 years of experience in marketing, business development, communications, or professional services
• Law firm experience preferred
• Strong writing, communication, and project management skills
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with legal directories, rankings, pitches, proposals, or events is a plus
