Commercial Drywall Estimator, Riverside, CA
Compensation: $80,000 to $120,000 base, depending on experience, plus benefits
A well-established commercial drywall and interiors contractor in the Riverside area is adding a Commercial Drywall Estimator to its preconstruction team. You'll bid on and win work across office, healthcare, education, multifamily, and retail projects.
What you'll do
- Do quantity takeoffs and full estimates for metal framing, drywall, ceilings, insulation, and related interior scopes
- Read and interpret plans and specs, and write RFIs and scope clarifications
- Get pricing from suppliers and subs, then build competitive bids
- Work with GCs and owners through bid day and buyout
- Hand awarded jobs off to project management
What you bring
- 3+ years estimating commercial drywall, framing, or interiors
- Comfort with On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar tools
- A solid grasp of commercial construction means and methods
- Field or PM experience in drywall is a plus
