Job Description:

• Designs and commissions systems of electrical and fluid controls for a variety of applications including welders, robots, assembly, conveyance and transfer systems.
• Applies knowledge, principles and techniques in engineering and computer science to develop software system programming and documentation.
• Facilitates build process by troubleshooting connection issues.
• Commissions and debugs equipment at build shop and/or end user sites.
• This is a professional position, requiring resource management skills to direct and monitor tasks of others.
• Must be capable of making autonomous decisions based on experience and project requirements.

Skills:

• Debug and clean up current PLC programs.
• Provide production support for part runs.
• Work with the team to provide solutions for error proofing and improvements.
• Provide feedback regarding progress and roadblocks to management.
• Troubleshoot peripherals and PLC applications when needed.
• Clean up alarms and HMI indicators according to the Ford standard.
• Run the GVOSS compare file to ensure the standard is followed.
• Collaborate with other team members to support them when needed.
• Troubleshoot Rockwell Automation VFD's or Drives.
