    The Company is seeking a VP, Global Program Lead Franchise in Oncology. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end disease strategy, working in close partnership with various functions to maximize the value of the oncology portfolio. This includes shaping the disease area portfolio strategy, accelerating the development of new assets, and leading a team of Global Program Leads to ensure the efficient execution of the strategy. The role demands a leader with a deep understanding of the drug development process, particularly in the late development space, and the ability to manage a large, high-performing, and diverse organization. The VP will also be accountable for the disease portfolio budget, driving the execution of the portfolio strategy, and ensuring alignment with senior leaders and functional area stakeholders.

    Candidates for this role at the company should hold an advanced degree (MD, PhD, DVM, PharmD, or equivalent) and have at least 10 years of experience in the drug development process, with a proven track record of leadership in academic or industry settings. The role requires expertise in the drug development process, including regulatory expectations, and a strong background in basic biology, pharmaceutical optimization, translational medicine, and clinical pharmacology. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, make data-driven decisions, and influence senior leaders. Strong business and financial acumen are essential to ensure that portfolio strategies and investment decisions align with the company's goals. The role is pivotal in the company's mission to transform patients' lives through science, and the candidate should be prepared to work in a dynamic, global, and inclusive environment that fosters innovation and collaboration.
