Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced investigations attorney with an established, portable practice to join the firm as a Partner or Senior Of Counsel. The ideal candidate will have experience handling sensitive, high-profile investigations for public and private sector clients throughout California.

The firm is open to candidates considering a strategic lateral transition, boutique merger, or long-term succession or wind-down strategy.

Qualified candidates should have substantial experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Workplace investigations.
• Title IX investigations.
• Public agency investigations.
• Executive misconduct and ethics investigations.
• Compliance and cultural assessments.
• Independent investigations involving sensitive personnel or governance issues.

Additional qualifications include:

• Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex investigations from intake through findings and reporting.
• Strong client relationships and a verifiable portable book of business.
• Exceptional judgment, discretion, writing, and interviewing skills.
• Experience advising public entities, educational institutions, municipalities, or private employers preferred.

Portable Business Expectation: Approximately $1.5M $3M in annual investigations-related revenue.
Compensation: Competitive compensation structure commensurate with experience and portable business.
