What you will do
- Lead project scope, schedules, budgets, deliverables, and risk
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior staff
- Negotiate right-of-way acquisitions in line with ODOT and federal requirements
- Conduct title research and manage closings and acquisition documents
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, property owners, and project teams
- Develop proposals and contracts and keep quality and client satisfaction high
What you need
- Ohio Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 7+ years of supervisory experience (10+ years of related experience preferred)
- Ability to become prequalified as a CE-2 with the Ohio Department of Transportation
- Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking skills
- Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field
- ODOT right-of-way or acquisition experience
