Job Title : Medical Assistant (Entry Level)
Schedule : Monday-Friday 8am - 6 : 30pm - (work an 8 hour shift within that gap)

Job Summary :
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to start or grow their career in patient care and clinical support. The Medical Assistant will coordinate patient flow, assist clinicians with procedures, and ensure accurate documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
Key Responsibilities :
Escort patients to exam rooms, obtain brief history and vital signs, and enter data into EHR.
Assist clinicians with exams and procedures, including patient preparation.
Complete consent forms and provide patient education and referral materials.
Clean and stock exam rooms before, during, and after clinic sessions.
Perform front desk duties including answering calls and scheduling appointments.
Review upcoming schedules to ensure necessary supplies are available.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of e-prescribing and EHR tasks.
Support clinicians with pending EHR tasks at the end of visits.
Maintain accurate EHR records in accordance with SBNC policies.
Assist in laboratory tasks as needed.
Complete daily tasks in the case management system.
Enroll patients in the Patient Assistance Program.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED required
Medical Assistant certification (MA cert) preferred
CPR certification preferred
Experience with EMR / EHR systems (Epic preferred)
Strong communication and customer service skills

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00 / hr.
