Description :

The registered nurse will provide care in the labor and delivery specialty.

The nurse will float between various assigned locations as needed.

The orientation includes comprehensive training on educational and workplace protocols.

The nurse will work with neonates, infants, adults, and pediatrics.

Skills in antepartum care, postpartum care, and neonatal resuscitation are essential.

Experience with the charting system is required.

The registered nurse will assist in high-risk deliveries and provide care for multiple births.

Support for breastfeeding and lactation will be offered to new parents.

The nurse will manage postpartum hemorrhage and other complications.

Effective communication and collaboration with the healthcare team are necessary.

The nurse will ensure patient safety and provide discharge teaching.
