Tax Manager

Our client is a well-established, mid-sized insurance organization with headquarters in New York City.

Job Description

Prepare and review quarterly and annual tax provisions. Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns. Assist in tax planning and strategy development. Manage tax audits and correspondence with tax authorities as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Tax Manager should have :

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• CPA preferred, but not required.
• 3+ years of professional experience in public and / or private accounting.
• Previous corporate income tax experience.
• Insurance industry experience a plus.
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office.
