College Intern Position

Incumbent must have excellent customer service skills, a can-do attitude, and pay a great attention to detail. This internship position in the Community Enhancement and Investment Fund Division will provide technical, administrative, and customer support to a team focused on community grant-making. The intern experience will be in-office and include opportunities to conduct research, write analysis, use modern technology, visit locations in the community, and meet with members of the public virtually or in person. This position is limited to no more than 25 hours per week and 1000 hours per fiscal year (July 1 - June 30). Work will take place in-person at Rancho Cordova's City Hall during standard business hours (8 a.m.5 p.m., MondayFriday). The team will work with the intern to set a flexible schedule that accounts for academic commitments. Candidates must be enrolled in at least six (6) units or more at an accredited college / university during the course of employment and must show proof of enrollment towards an Associates, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in the required field of study.
