What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients, students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for educational locations. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or potential issues. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identifications, and helping to maintain an orderly environment. Report any security-related concerns, observations, or incidents promptly to the appropriate personnel and maintain accurate logs as required by Allied Universal policies. Support the enforcement of school rules and regulations as directed by site leadership and / or Allied Universal protocols. Remain observant to unusual or suspicious activities throughout the location and promptly communicate findings to supervisors or local authorities as necessary. Minimum Requirements : Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
