Job Description
The Sanitation Team Member will maintain all store and facility areas to ensure a clean and safe work environment for both Team Members and guests.
This position will perform various daily / weekly cleaning tasks, minor repairs and projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform duties on the daily and weekly Sanitation and Maintenance lists, and adhere to cleaning and maintenance schedules
- Follow all GMP guidelines, complete all documentation for HACCP, FSMA, and daily operational sheets as required by food safety plan
- Accept and process product from the store receiver.
- Follow established hazardous material safety procedures.
- Keep floor clear of any dry or liquid debris.
- Empty trash containers and replace liners.
- Keep and maintain accurate sweep logs.
- Use appropriate protective equipment.
- Maintain back stock areas and coolers.
- Dust fixtures, shelves and product.
- Clean windows and mirrored surfaces.
- Support all teams with cleaning projects.
- Keep department supplies filled and maintained.
- Keep all supply shelves clean and stocked.
- Practice safe use of tools and equipment required by position.
- Practice proper case and maintenance of equipment.
- Know and practice proper lifting techniques.
- Report safety violations and hazards immediately.
- Participate in ordering supplies needed for store maintenance.
- Help with any cleaning emergencies that occur in the facility.
- Comply with all state and federal health and safety codes.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Experience cleaning in the food manufacturing industry
- Knowledge and experience performing basic maintenance
- Knowledge of state and federal safety codes
- Able to work well without direct supervision
- Able to operate all necessary equipment and perform all physical requirements of the job
- Safe and tidy work habits
- Able to communicate effectively
- Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends as required
Schedule
- Option 1 : 6 : 00pm - 2 : 30am Monday, Tuesday, and Friday & 4 : 00pm - 12 : 30am Saturday and Sunday (off Wednesday and Thursday)
- Option 2 : 6 : 00pm - 2 : 30am Monday, Thursday, and Friday & 4 : 00pm - 12 : 30am Saturday and Sunday (off on Tuesday and Wednesday)
- Off on Wednesday and Thursday
