SUMMARY :

The Technical Support Representative provides technical assistance and support for industry-related internal or third-party products, software, and systems; resolves tickets in a timely manner responding to staff and client-generated technical requests or problems by troubleshooting technical and process issues to maintain productivity. This is a full-time, entry-level position with a normal operating schedule of Monday - Friday, 11 : 30AM - 8 : 00PM Eastern Time (EST). The pay range for this position starts at $18.00 per hour but is commensurate with experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respond to incoming phone calls and email requests while meeting company service level expectations.
  • Follow all workflows and document all actions in proprietary system.
  • Answer incoming phone calls within 3 rings.
  • Correspond with clients and team members via multiple online chats and email groups.
  • Assist other team members as needed.
  • Participate in skills training as needed.
  • Adhere to and maintains compliance with all Federal and state regulations, and Xactus policies and procedures.
  • QUALIFICATIONS :

    EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE :

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1-2 years of customer service experience required.
  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a similar role or capacity highly desired and will be given preference.
  • Familiar with current Windows Operating Systems and basic computer skills.
  • Knowledge of bureau and industry standards.
  • SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES :

  • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
  • Effective troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
  • Familiar with a variety of industry concepts, practices, and procedures; relies on experiencing and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize accordingly.
  • Team-player; able to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Client relationship skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Teams, specifically screen-sharing tools / capabilities.
  • Knowledge of Automated Underwriting process.
  • Familiarity with various LOS systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High concentration and accuracy.
  • Proper phone etiquette.
  • Effectively write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to calculate figures and apply concepts of basic algebra.
  • WORKING CONDITIONS

    This is a remote, work-from-home position. To be successful in this role, an individual will need to have high speed internet. An individual will also need to have the ability to establish a quiet workspace that is distraction-free, and conducive to continuous work and will provide for confidentiality.
